The basics

LoveladiesCottage rents by the week or longer, Friday to Friday, from Memorial Day weekend through the end of October, with a “short week” in August just before Labor Day. Rates for 2026 range from $3060 (October) to $5752 (Summer).

Beach badges and chairs are provided at no extra charge, as are fresh bed linens and bath towels. Light housekeeping on turnover day, and mid-stay for multi-week rentals, is also provided. An added fee is charged if Fido comes along. A refundable security deposit is required, and additional fees and taxes may be charged if required by law. Contact us for more information on fees and reservation policies.

Maximum occupancy is 8, and the house is most comfortable for up to 4 adults with up to 4 children. Sorry, no smoking, no jet skis, no nightly or weekend rentals, and we cannot accommodate proms, weddings or parties.

LoveladiesCottage

Loveladies is a residential community on the quiet north end of LBI. First developed in the 1950’s, it was home to fishermen and summer home to many teachers from the mainland. Those teachers had summers off, and when the school year ended they packed up their families, headed for the shore, and stayed ‘til fall.

Our home, LoveladiesCottage, is one of the original 1950’s summer places. It is updated but true to its roots, classic and relaxed.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, an outside shower and an open family-friendly floor plan. Set up with one king bed, one queen bed and two sets of bunkbeds, it is most comfortable for up to 4 adults with 4 children. Dogs are welcome, for an added fee.

Ours is a non-smoking house. Sorry, no jet skis, and no proms, weddings, reunions, parties. Rents weekly or for multi-week stays; no nightly, weekend, or seasonal rates.
